Darkroom (Health and Safety)

The darkroom is a fun experience but there can be consequences if it's not used properly. So here is the risk assessment I've put together and also some of the health and safety requirements I need to observe when using the black and white darkroom.

Risk Assessment (Darkroom)

Health and Safety Requirements:

• Do not eat and drink in the darkroom - At any times.
• If you are pregnant, do not enter the darkroom.
• Any health issues then also do not enter the darkroom.
• Keep the number of people working limited.
• Be sensible in the darkroom.
• Do not run inside.
• Be cautious when working with chemicals.
• Report to the teachers if any trouble.
• Do not use phones whilst people are working.
• Be aware of any fire exits.
• Keep the acid eye bath nearby.
• Always wash hands with soap after using the darkroom.
